Youth Babysitting & Safety Training

Youth Babysitting & Safety Training

Red Tape Foundation is developing practical safety and workforce-readiness training for youth ages 11–16 through American Red Cross Babysitter’s Training and First Aid/CPR/AED programs.

Skills Youth Can Build

  • Safe care of children and infants
  • Feeding, diapering, and safely holding children
  • Positive behavior and communication skills
  • Emergency awareness and basic first aid readiness
  • Leadership, responsibility, and early job skills

Enhanced Certification Option

When offered, the enhanced program may combine American Red Cross Babysitter’s Training with Adult & Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certification.

The combined program provides broader emergency-response training for adults, children, and infants.

For Families and Community Partners

Red Tape Foundation welcomes interest from families, schools, youth organizations, nonprofits, sponsors, and community partners interested in helping make training accessible to underserved youth.

Scholarship-supported and sponsored seats may be offered as funding and partnerships become available.
