What to include
Provide the facts needed for an initial review.
- Your full name and organization, school, employer, or community group if applicable.
- Your city, county, or general service area.
- The program, document, proposal, or topic involved.
- The people or community the request is intended to benefit.
- Any important date, deadline, proposed location, or general time frame.
- Resources already available, such as facilities, funding, instructors, volunteers, equipment, or outreach.
- The specific action you would like Red Tape Foundation to consider.
- Your preferred contact method.
A concise message is more useful than a large collection of unrelated attachments. Send only information needed to understand the initial request.
Program availability
An inquiry does not create registration, approval, or funding.
Some program pages describe developing work before a class, scholarship application, volunteer assignment, or partnership opportunity is open. A program is available only when confirmed details and participation instructions are published or communicated directly.
Contacting the Foundation does not automatically create a class registration, scholarship award, reimbursement, volunteer placement, partnership, sponsorship, endorsement, certification, contract, or professional relationship.
Call 911 for an immediate threat to life or safety. Contact the responsible government agency, attorney, tax professional, medical provider, emergency responder, regulator, employer, school, or certifying organization when that provider controls the decision or deadline.
Important boundaries
General education does not replace a qualified professional or agency.
Red Tape Foundation is not a law firm, medical provider, tax preparer, accounting firm, investment adviser, emergency service, licensing body, or government agency. It does not provide legal representation, individualized professional advice, emergency services, or guaranteed outcomes.
Do not delay a filing, hearing, appeal, medical evaluation, government response, benefit application, license renewal, payment, or other deadline while waiting for a Foundation response.
